We are currently hiring dockhands for the 2026 season.  

As a dockhand, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to club members and performing minor general maintenance tasks to harbor grounds and facility. A "can do" attitude, fast pace, and desire to learn is essential for success in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist members with vessels while arriving/departing harbor

• Participate in clean-up activities to ensure the facilities are kept clean at all times (Harbor office, docks, washrooms, and trash receptacles)

• Assist with minor repairs to docks and boat slips

• Uncover and cover boats, daily, as used/requested

• Maintain harbor boat, grounds vehicles, and equipment

• Monitor and report property for safety, cleanliness, and damage

• Assist members in loading and unloading belongings to and from boats

• Perform light clerical duties

• Retrieve and deliver items to members on request

• Transport members to between their car/harbor house/boat slip

• Remove debris and seaweed from lagoon

• Performing a range of customer service duties in a safe, courteous, and professional manner

• Assist Harbormaster in daily duties and other duties as assigned

Qualifications all applicants must possess:

• Valid Driver’s license

• Reliable transportation to and from work

• Ability to work varied hours/shifts, including days, nights, weekends and all summer holidays are required
